City Art, 20 contemporary artists from Mexico City, Nov 14/08

EDUARDO ALCOBE. Veracruz, Mexico, 1965. It studies Painting and Sculpture, in the Academy of San Carlos, and Silkscreen printing in Euroscreen, Modena, Italy; its restlessness to experiment with to diverse takes it materials to take a course from Ceramic Enamels Colorobbia, in Castellón, Spain, and to study Theory of the color Konica Minolta, in Mexico. It has exposed individually in Gallery RV (DF., 2007), in the Gallery of art Dr. Atl (DF., 1989) and in the Polytechnical School of Industrial Engineering (DF., 1989). Between its collectives they emphasize: Museum of Art of Querétaro (2007), Metropolitan Cultural Museum (Tampico, 2007), Gallery the Vestibule (DF., 2006), Museum of Modern Art (Leningrad, Russia, 1990), Castle of Narva (Estonian, Russia, 1990). Paralelamente, collaborates in projects of ceramics, ceramic design of contemporary furniture and murals: in 2004 Mexico realises the Panoramic Shield of the Hospital Spanish Charity (, DF.) and in 2002 it carries out Panoramic Murals for diverse companies. At the moment one is in constant exploration, looking for new elements to enrich his most personal plasticity, in persecution of techniques and new, but unique colors not only, that obtains when mixing pictorial materials with epóxicas resins, fluorescent red metallic papers and that give to their certain painting sculptural dimension.
